Bass Extreme Pro is a high-performance, Medium Flex, two-piece SUP Race paddle from the 10th Anniversary Collection of the BASS brand.
It retains the proven construction of the previous-generation Bass Extreme Pro, appreciated by racers and ambitious paddlers for its light weight, precision and efficiency. In its anniversary edition, the paddle features a new visual identity inspired by the Bass fish while staying true to the solutions that have proven themselves over years of training sessions and competitions.
Its ultra-light 100% Carbon Prepreg Twill 3KT construction, adjustable length with the Anti-Twist Lockerstabilization system, and five paddle variants allow precise adaptation to hand size, body build and paddling style.
Precision Tailored to the Paddler
Bass Extreme Pro is a two-piece carbon SUP Race paddle designed for paddlers who expect high performance, comfort and the ability to fine-tune their equipment to their individual preferences.
Its adjustable length and two shaft diameters make it easy to match the paddle to the paddler’s height, hand size and paddling style while maintaining racing performance and outstanding efficiency during both training sessions and competitions.
The paddle’s low weight reduces arm fatigue during long-distance training sessions and races, improves stroke dynamics and helps maintain a high paddling cadence.
Depending on the selected variant, Bass Extreme Pro weighs only approximately 455–588 g, making it one of the lightest two-piece SUP Race paddles in its class.
The lightweight yet durable construction made from 100% Carbon Prepreg Twill 3KT delivers an outstanding balance of low weight, stiffness and paddling comfort
Medium Flex efficiently transfers energy during every stroke while reducing muscle and joint fatigue during long training sessions, long-distance paddling and frequent races.
The two-piece construction allows precise paddle length adjustment, making it easy to adapt the paddle to the rider’s height, paddling style, board and water conditions.
The adjustment range depends on the selected paddle variant:
A clearly marked length scale allows fast and precise adjustment, while the Anti-Twist Locker system provides a rigid and secure connection between both shaft sections, eliminating unwanted shaft rotation during paddling.
Bass Extreme Pro is available with 26 mm and 29 mm shaft diameters, each matched to a specific paddle variant.
The 26 mm shaft is used in the S and M- variants. Its smaller diameter offers a more comfortable grip for paddlers with smaller hands while also making the paddle exceptionally light and comfortable during long training sessions.
The M+, L and XL variants feature the 29 mm shaft, providing greater stiffness, a secure grip and efficient power transfer during high-intensity paddling.
The Anti-Twist Locker system effectively prevents shaft rotation, ensuring a rigid and stable connection between both shaft sections regardless of the selected paddle length.
The deep concave blade increases stability in the water while generating greater power with every stroke.
Four blade sizes and five paddle variants allow the perfect combination of blade area, shaft diameter and paddle length to match the paddler’s weight, hand size and paddling style.
Bass Extreme Pro is manufactured entirely from 100% Carbon Prepreg Twill 3KT.
Prepreg technology enables precise control of the manufacturing process, resulting in an exceptionally lightweight, stiff and durable construction.
Combined with the Anti-Twist Locker system and adjustable length, it delivers an outstanding balance of efficiency, comfort and versatility.
The Bass Extreme Pro blade has been designed for maximum efficiency in competitive paddling.
Its deep concave profile increases resistance and improves blade stability throughout the stroke.
A reinforced blade neck together with additional carbon reinforcement along the blade edges increases stiffness, allowing maximum power transfer with every stroke.
The result is a powerful and stable catch, precise tracking and predictable blade performance even during high-intensity paddling.
If your weight falls between two blade sizes, consider your paddling style when choosing the right variant. Racers who prefer a higher cadence generally perform better with a smaller blade, while paddlers who favour a more powerful, strength-based stroke often benefit from a larger blade area.
For paddlers who:
